*The Chairperson, Alternate Chairperson and
Treasure are 2 year terms; these committee members can only serve in this
capacity for 2 consecutive terms.
** H&I and AI-Anon representatives to be
appointed to the committee by those respective organizations.
ELECTION AND QUALIFICATIONS OF
CHAIRPERSONS (OFFICERS)
-
All Committee Chairpersons and
Officers will be elected by the group on the first Wednesday in
March following the Spring Fling Conference. Voting will be by
those A.A. members running for office and prior year committee
members.

The minimum sobriety
requirements for any Chairperson or Officer position added to
the Committee will be two (2) years.

No Committee Chairperson or
Officer is to be included in the Spring Fling program in any
capacity. Each Chairperson's/Officer's duties are defined in
their respective job description.

If the elected Committee
Chairperson is unable to complete the term of office the
alternative Committee Chairperson will succeed the Committee
Chairperson or a new Committee Chairperson will be elected by
the committee.

Should any Committee
Chairperson be unable to fulfill their duties as stated in the
job description, the Committee, as a whole may decide by
majority vote that the chairperson be replaced.

If any position becomes
available it will be announced at group meetings and the
Committee as a whole will elect a Committee Chairperson for the
vacant position.
COMMITTEE MEETINGS
-
Committee meetings will be held
monthly for the first 10 months of term, and as
needed for the last 30 days.

Voting privileges are extended
to Committee members only.

Each outgoing Committee
Chairperson will provide a report of the activities to the
incoming officers at the election meeting held on the first
(1st) Wednesday in March.

A Committee member may only
incur one (1) unexcused, and two (2) excused
absences with an alternate present.
FINANCIAL
-
All financial statements and
supporting documentation (i.e. receipts, cancelled checks, etc.)
will be turned over to the incoming Treasurer at the April
meeting.

Donations are to be made after
all bills are paid and a financial report has been submitted to
the Committee for review/approval. Spring Fling will make the
following disbursements: 70% CCFAA, 10% CNIA, 10% H&I and 10%
GSO. Al-Anon will keep their raffle profits from the Spring
Fling and will not receive a disbursement.

The sum of $25,000.00 is to be
held in reserve for the following year's working capital.

No merchandise, except sobriety
tapes and conference-approved literature, will be sold during
the Spring Fling Conference other than such items approved and
supplied by the committee and bearing the Spring Fling logo.
