BANQUET

 

·        Attend all Spring Fling Committee meeting during the year.

 

·        Call the Classic Caters and ask when the new menu comes out and have them send a copy to you. Also call the Clarion Hotel and request a new menu for the AI-Anon Luncheon.

 

·        When menus are received, have the committee choose a salad, entree, and a dessert. Have AI-Anon have her group pick a selection from their menu.

 

·        Let Classic Cater and the Clarion know of the choices.

 

·        Advise the committee of the actual number of sold tickets in pre-registration and have them recommend what the commitments should be.

 

·        The Classic Cater requires 5 working days for a final count, and the Clarion requires 72 hrs. Have the registration person keep you up date with the final count. Also it need to be broken down, how many chicken/beef etc.

 

·        Be at the banquet 30 minutes prior to seating.

 

·        Reserves tables for speakers and quest.

 

·        Place a dot under the chair or a plate per table, the person sitting in that seat wins the centerpiece.

 

·         Tell guest Banquet tickets are to be placed at each placed setting for proper service. Be sure the tickets are different colors

 

·        Announce dot placement before entree is cleared.
